What does it mean to embrace lifelong career development? As we go through life, our needs, values, and preferences change. We also grow in knowledge and skills. We can consciously seek new skills that prepare us for work that better uses our skills, helps us to develop new skills, and increases our sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. This is the meaning of lifelong career development. It is never too soon or too late to seek a meaningful way to contribute to society and a greater sense of fulfillment. Singapore has embraced this belief by creating the Lifelong Learning Institute where we will hold our conference in 2021. See you there!
